What do you need?

In-person training

Fun, meaningful, and designed to produce measurable results, DJJ face-to-face training is interactive, engaging and experience-based. Using group discussions, interactive business games and exercises, these in-person training sessions can be held at your premises or at a third party location, for groups of up to 12.

Online training

Online training is much, much more than face-to-face training delivered online. DJJ online courses, also for up to 12 participants, are designed to fit around your team, their needs and availability. Each high-impact session is active, engaging and results-focused, and delivered by a certified online facilitator.

Coaching

One-to-one coaching, either IRL or online, in one-hour blocks at your convenience. Coaching is a vital management tool that helps top-level individuals achieve more. Together, two people explore options, addressing areas for development, and setting goals all in a confidential and enlightening environment.

The DJJ behind DJJ Training

The driving force behind DJJ Training is David J. James.

For more than 16 years, he has been working as a management trainer and coach, helping teams and individuals across Europe and beyond develop their potential and achieve the results they need. David is a qualified Barrister with extensive experience to Director level across the finance sector, academia and the media.

After being Called to the Bar in London in 1994, David spent several years working in the city of London before moving to Luxembourg in 2000, where he worked for JPMorgan, liaising with state regulators on behalf of investment funds. 

After a career change, he became involved with a local media start-up working as an international newsreader and journalist, rising to Director of News and Sports within five years. During this time, he took a role at the University of Trier (Germany) as a lecturer on the English & American Law programme. This led to a post at the Deutsche Richterakademie, (a state-run higher education institute for lawyers) training high-level German Judges and Prosecutors in the fundamentals of English common law.

Discovering an aptitude for ongoing professional education, David started to specialise in management training in 2008. He has worked with an impressive range of international clients across the world, including significant players in in the finance sector, industry, logistics, air transport, construction, consulting and pharma, media, the legal sector, and third sector. And throughout his career as a trainer, he has worked with a number of EU institutions and agencies, and other supra-national organisations such as NATO.

David specialises in designing, developing and delivering training programmes in a wide spectrum of management soft skills. He is particularly popular for his ability to make complicated subjects easy to understand and making training enjoyable and productive for those involved throughout the organisation
